Gary Freymiller

Previously to serving as director for Wiser, he was a mechanical engineer with a specialty in rotating machinery, design engineer for race tires and a book publisher. Gary’s passion for the development of renewable energy sources is prevalent through his service on the Hoosier Environmental council Energy Policy Committee, Earth Charter Indiana Regional Transition Team, Purdue University Energy Club and Marshall County Watt Watchers. Gary chooses to be “wiser” by having his furnace blower cleaned each year, checking his furnace filter monthly, using compact fluorescents or LED lights where possible, insulating hot water lines and driving an energy efficient car.
